MadisonMadison Elle Beer from Long Island, New York was an early fan of music. She began making videos in 2012 that featured her performing renditions of popular songs. In the space of a few months pop star Justin Bieber came across her rendition of Etta James' "At Last" and shared it with more than 25 million of his Twitter followers. The media coverage resulted in the signing of a record deal with Island Records, and then the signing of a management contract with Bieber's manager. At the same time, Beer was also cast as a minor character in the independent film Louder Than Words, which featured David Duchovny and made its debut at the film festival in 2013. Her debut single, "Melodies", in late 2013. Her solo debut album As She Pleases in the year of 2018. The lead single "Home with You", that landed within Norway's Top 30, and the EP was in the top half of the Billboard 200, reached its peak. Beer also dropped the single "Hurts Like Hell", featuring Offset that in the same year.
