Leighton Meester, an American singer, model, actor and music producer, is a multi-talented performer. She's the character "Blair Waldorf" in the drama TV series called "Gossip Girl". The career of Leighton Meester began when she was a girl. The stage she was on featured her on a stage in her home town the production of 'The Wizard of Oz'. This inspired her to pursue acting. In the beginning her professional career, she started with advertisements, and modeling. When she was modeling she worked with large brands such as "Herbal Essences," "Vera Wang," "Jimmy Choo," and Ralph Lauren. Even though she began her professional career as an actress, she later branched out into acting too. The first stage of her career was model, however later began acting.
